The Playfactory sets the park in motion with games for kids and adults. The perfect warmup to a great Culture Night. We begin at 5 pm with games for small kids and parents (2-6 years) and continue at 6 pm with games for bigger children and adults (7-100 years). Rumour has it that the coffee bar on the corner is open and ready to serve delicious warm beverages for both kids and adults. See you in the park on Provstevej!

The Playfactory produces healthy and happy children and adults. We do courses, projects and events. We work with children, parents, pedagogues, teachers and other interested. The machinery is kept going by Balder Brøndsted - movement consultant and author of several books about play and movement.

At present Realdania Byg and Rem Koolhas/Oma architects are building a grand new house for the building industry and the Danish Architecture Centre on Christians Brygge on the harbour front in central Copenhagen. From 1776 the "King's Brewery" had its building here, which were abandoned in 1923 and destroyed during a fire in 1960. The fragile urban environment, dominated by buildings from the 17th and 18th centuries, has led to debate and protest about the new building project. However, the project about to be realized is not the first large-scale project on the spot. The Danish National Art Library shows a number of architectural drawings and models from competitions held in 1941 and 1993 that have brought forth a range of different ideas about the design and use of future buildings on the spot by a number of Denmark's most important architects, from crystaline skyscraper office buildings to more discret regional modernist institutions.
