Free public transport
Your Culture Pass, which is a badge, is valid as a ticket on busses, trains and metro trains throughout the Copenhagen area from 5 pm to 5 am.
You can see on the map below where your ticket is valid and what transport facilities you have in that area. Two children up to and including the age of 11 can travel free of charge together with a grown-up holding a Culture Pass.
Travel by public transport
There are extra buss services on Culture Night. Standby extra busses will be put into service as needed on the busiest routes during the period 6 pm to 1 am.
The Culture Pass (badge) ensures free access to boat transport on Culture Night. Boats said on specified routes from 6 pm.
Movia and the Transport Museum Skjoldenæsholm will also run veteran busses throughout Culture Night. You can use them free of charge with your Culture Pass (badge). There is a conductor on all busses who can answer questions, issue tickets (free of charge) to children and information brochureson the Transport Museum and the buses.
