About The Little Culture Night

On Friday March 15, 2019, Culture Night will launch a new concept: "The Little Culture Night".
During the last 26 years, Culture Night has been Copenhagen's largest annual cultural event with hundreds of fantastic experiences for children and adults of all ages, regardless of their interests. Today, the Culture Night is an event that has become a tradition for many people.

More than 94,000 guests purchased a Culture Pass for the Culture Night in 2018, and our studies show that 20% of them spent the evening together with at least one child under the age of 12 who do not need a Cultural Pass. This indicates that up to 35,000 children participated in the Cultural Night accompanied by an adult.

For several years, the most regular feedback from our guests has been a wish that Culture Night either lasts two days or takes place several times a year so they have an opportunity to visit more events. Culture Night does not want to change the October event, but has long been keen to give children the opportunity to take part in the many wonderful experiences in Copenhagen and Frederiksberg – in hopes that they wish to take their families on a return visit. For this reason, we are now launching The Little Culture Night.
