About The Culture Night

Look Forward to the most Magical Evening of the Autumn Friday 11 October

With a magnitude of exciting events and special experiences and with the streets of Copenhagen awash with happy people, Culture Night is back again on 11 October from18:00 – 24:00.

Culture Night is the biggest annual one-day event in Copenhagen with more than 200 organizers, including museums, theatres, churches, ministries and libraries opening their doors to welcome the public to an unforgettable evening in the rich and diverse world of culture.

The programme for Culture Night will be available here 1 September, and again this year you can look forward to unique events especially created for Culture Night. Take the opportunity to go behind the scenes in buildings and institutions normally closed to our inquisitive eyes and ears.

All you need to take part in Culture Night is a Culture Night Pass which you can buy here or at a 7-Eleven in metropolitan Copenhagen. A Culture Night Pass gives everyone access to all the events taking place on Culture Night and to free transportation by bus, train or Metro in Greater Copenhagen (zones 1-99) from 16:00 to 04:00. Two children under 12 years have free entry when they are accompanied by an adult with a Culture Night Pass.

See you on Culture Night!
