About the Culture Pass

All Culture Night events require a Culture Pass. It costs DKK 95 and can be purchased in all 7-Eleven stores within the capital region as well as libraries and museums in Copenhagen and on Frederiksberg.

Sales begin on October 2, 2017 and the Culture Pass also offers access to free transport on trains, S-trains, busses and the Metro in the city zones 1-99 from 17.00 to 05.00 on Culture Night. If you live outside the capital region, you can buy the Culture Pass from our webshop from September 18, until October 6, at 12.00. (We can only send Culture Passes to addresses in Denmark.)

The Culture Pass has never sold out. However, in the days leading up to and on Culture Night, it is expected that the smaller outlets may run out. If you buy your Culture Pass after 17.30 on Culture Night, we recommend the 7-Eleven at Nørreport Station or the Central Station (Københavns Hovedbanegård).

Remember to buy your Culture Pass early if you need to use it as a ticket for public transport.

You can find your nearest sales outlet here.

A Children Culture Pass is free and just for fun for all children under 12 years. It is not necessary for a child to have a Children Culture Pass to participate in Culture Night events. The Children Culture Pass cannot be used as a ticket for public transport.

The purchase of the Culture Pass gives you the possibility to receive a free printed guide that contains an overview of this year’s organizers. Descriptions of all the events can be found on our website. The printed guide is only available while supplies last.

The Culture Pass cannot be refunded.
