The Danish Parliament and the Little Night of Culture
On Little Culture Night, the Danish Parliament opens its doors to children between the ages of 6 and 12, and their families. The evening has many fun activities to offer, including a stage play where the Constitutional Act comes alive. Visit the creative workshop where the children can decorate their own constitutional act and make badges, or try the giant wheel of fortune in the Lobby or experience the Chamber from the inside

Come try out the giant wheel of fortune in the Lobby and answer questions about the Danish Parliament, Christiansborg Palace and the work of the politicians. Compete against your parents. Maybe you know more than they do? Only in Danish.

See the Chamber from the inside

You have probably seen the parliamentary Chamber on television. The Chamber is the meeting room of the politicians. This is where they pass laws and debate each other. Tonight you can explore the Chamber. Try taking a selfie in one of the green chairs in the Chamber and see how much you can look like a politician.

Watch our play where you and the other children will breathe life into the Constitutional Act. You will help it get ready to celebrate its 175th birthday. You can also meet a genuine swankpot from 1849. He will teach you how to be a real know-it-all. Only in Danish.
